Finally, the Sabarmati....

Sabarmati....a view from Ahmedabad!

There are a few weird traditions we people follow. One of them is calling rivers names while all that remains is their banks! But, phew, its a relief to see the River back again... Now there are conflicting opinons about the floods. While a part of the state( particularly Surat) believe that they are devastated, I wonder how many NGO's have reached that place.....There is another part, down in the Kutch and the Saurashtra, whose water woes for the year have been taken care of! Now, its for Narendra Bhai Mo-demon to take a call on 'weather' to call the 'whether' a Boon or a Bane. There is, however, something wrong with the doors around this place. They expand like crazy! After the rains, there is nothing that you can shut. All the doors are too big!
I mean seriously, there are areas which see some real rains and this doesnt happen with those doors.
